(Baonghean) - In Vo Liet commune (Thanh Chuong), there are still about 50 households living and earning a living on the Lam River. Their lives are facing many difficulties and hardships, especially during the rainy season.
All family activities take place in a cramped boat, drifting on the river. Making a living by fishing and mining sand and gravel, their income is quite unstable, their children's education is somewhat limited... Their biggest dream is to have a sturdy house to reduce their worries when the rain and flood come.
