The French President's office also issued a statement on the same day stating that President Francois Hollande "supports the condemnation of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, who considered the above action 'unjustifiable'" and that Paris "requests an immediate ceasefire".
The school, located in the Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza, is a shelter for more than 3,000 homeless people. The school was shelled by Israeli tanks on the morning of July 30. This is the second time in a week that Israel has attacked a school that is a shelter for Palestinian refugees./.
