Hanoi street closure schedule tomorrow, August 29: Update on restricted streets and alternative routes

In preparation for the key events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, Hanoi City Police announced a plan to ban roads and regulate traffic on August 29 and 30. Hanoi police announced changes in time and area of ​​road closures and traffic diversions to serve the rehearsal for the A80 parade.

Also from 10pm on August 29, the Traffic Police Department will apply measures to restrict certain types of vehicles on highways and national highways heading towards Hanoi, specifically:

During the period of road closures and vehicle restrictions, Hanoi City Police organize directions for vehicles as follows:

- Cars temporarily banned from National Highway 5, Hanoi - Bac Giang Expressway, Hanoi - Hai Phong Expressway to Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway move through Thanh Tri Bridge → Ring Road III on high → Do Muoi intersection → Cau Gie - Ninh Binh Expressway.

- Trucks with a total designed weight of 10 tons or more traveling on the elevated Ring Road III are restricted from moving to intersections on Pham Van Dong, Pham Hung, Khuat Duy Tien, Nguyen Xien streets and must comply with the direction and instructions of the authorities.

- Do not stop or park vehicles on roads where traffic is prohibited or temporarily prohibited.
