Official holiday schedule for Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, April 30 and May 1, 2018

According to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, on the occasion of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of administrative units, public service agencies, political organizations, and socio-political organizations; Workers (working at enterprises with a 2-day/week off policy); Workers (working at enterprises with a 1-day/week off policy) are entitled to take a day off on April 25, 2018 and receive full salary.

On April 30 and May 1, cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers of administrative units, public service agencies, political organizations, and socio-political organizations; and workers (working at enterprises with a 2-day/week off regime) will have 4 consecutive days off, from April 28, 2018 to May 1, 2018 (of which April 28, 2018 and April 29, 2018 are weekly days off, April 30, 2018 and May 1, 2018 are Victory Day and International Labor Day holidays); and receive full salary.

Employees (working at enterprises with 1 day off/week) are entitled to 3 consecutive days off, from April 29, 2018 to May 1, 2018 (of which April 29, 2018 is a weekly day off, April 30, 2018 and May 1, 2018 are Victory Day and International Labor Day holidays) and receive full salary.

According to the provisions of Point c, Clause 1, Article 97 of the 2012 Labor Code, employees who work overtime are paid according to the unit price of salary or salary according to the work being done, at least 300% excluding the salary for holidays and paid leave days for employees receiving daily wages. Thus, if an employee receiving daily wages goes to work on Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, he/she will receive up to 4 days' salary (one day's salary included in the monthly salary and 3 days' overtime salary)./.
