Notice No. 4659/TB-LDTBXH signed by Minister Pham Thi Hai Chuyen on November 13, 2015 on holidays and Tet in 2016 for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations (hereinafter referred to as workers) clearly states:
Workers will have Lunar New Year holiday from February 6, 2016 to February 14, 2016 (ie from December 28, At Mui year to January 7, Binh Than year), a total of 9 days.
In which, from February 7, 2016 to February 11, 2016 (ie from December 29, At Mui year to January 4, Binh Than year) are holidays, the remaining days are weekly holidays and compensatory days of weekly holidays.
The notice also notes: Agencies and units that do not have a fixed 2-day holiday schedule every Saturday and Sunday should base on the specific program and plan of the unit to arrange a suitable and legal holiday schedule.
During the Tet holiday, agencies and units will arrange reasonable staff to handle work and ensure good service to the people's needs.
