Hanoi National University's Aptitude Test
The competency assessment exam organized by the Hanoi National University Examination Center is an independent exam from the admission process, using exam results at different levels as a basis for admission independent of the university admission process.
The test consists of 3 parts: Quantitative Thinking (50 questions - 75 minutes), Qualitative Thinking (50 questions - 60 minutes) and Science (50 questions - 60 minutes). Hanoi National University's capacity assessment test schedule:

The test scores are automatically graded by the assessment software. The test results are displayed on the computer screen after the candidate finishes the test or after the prescribed test time has expired.
This year, with 6 exam sessions, the Hanoi National University Examination Center is expected to serve about 75,000 candidates in Hanoi and the provinces of Hai Phong, Nam Dinh, Hung Yen, Thai Nguyen, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Thai Binh, Hai Duong. The exam registration fee is 500,000 VND/session.
When registering, candidates can choose the location, date, and session of the exam with a maximum of two sessions and at least 28 days apart. The registration system only allows an account to log in and operate on one computer device at the same time.

Hanoi National University of Education's Aptitude Test
Hanoi National University of Education organizes a capacity assessment exam in 2024, scheduled for May 11 according to the following schedule:

Exam fee is 200,000 VND/subject. Candidates need to research and consider choosing 2-5 competency assessment exams to register for. For each exam session, only register for a maximum of one exam.
Candidates can choose to register for the exam at one of three exam locations at Hanoi National University of Education, Quy Nhon University, and Danang University of Education.
The exam is a combination of multiple choice and essay questions. Literature has 30% multiple choice questions and 70% essay questions. English has a ratio of 80 - 20% multiple choice and essay questions. The remaining subjects are 70 - 30%. Candidates take the test directly on a separate exam paper as prescribed by Hanoi National University of Education.
Currently, there are 9 schools using the results of this exam for admission, including: Hanoi National University of Education, Hanoi National University of Education 2, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Hue University of Education, Da Nang University of Education, Thai Nguyen University of Education, Vinh University, Quy Nhon University, Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Hanoi University of Science and Technology Thinking Assessment Test
This year’s thinking assessment test organized by Hanoi University of Science and Technology was divided into 6 rounds in the form of multiple choice tests on computers. The fee for each test was 450,000 VND/student.

Private exam of Hanoi University of Science and Technology
The Hanoi University of Science and Technology’s own exam is expected to be held with separate subject combinations for each major. Candidates who register for a major will take the corresponding exam combination. The school’s specific time for receiving documents, exam schedule and interview are as follows:

The condition for taking the exam is that candidates must have an average score of 6.5 or higher in Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and IT in Grade 11 and 12. Dual degree programs require students to have an additional English certificate of IELTS from 6.0 or TOEFL iBT from 60 or higher. For Pharmacy, the requirement is an average score of 7.0 to 8.8 and IELTS from 5.0 or TOEFL iBT from 35 or higher.
Ho Chi Minh City National University's Competency Assessment Test
The Ho Chi Minh National University's aptitude test is expected to be held twice before the high school graduation exam and will have many more testing locations to facilitate candidates.

Accordingly, on April 7, 2024, the first round of exams will be organized by the school in 24 provinces and cities including: Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, An Giang, Can Tho, Kien Giang, Bac Lieu.
In the second round, on June 2, the school organized a capacity assessment test in 12 provinces and cities including: Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Tien Giang, An Giang.
In terms of format, the test consists of 120 selected objective multiple-choice questions with a time limit of 150 minutes. In terms of content, the test provides data, facts and basic formulas to assess reasoning and problem-solving abilities, not memorization abilities.
The structure of the Ho Chi Minh National University's aptitude test consists of 3 parts: Language use; Mathematics, logical thinking and data analysis; and Problem solving. The test fee is 300,000 VND/test.
Competency assessment exam of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education
This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education plans to hold 3 rounds of competency assessment exams, 1 round more than last year. Candidates are 11th and 12th graders and individuals who wish to learn about the exam and its papers.

In terms of form, candidates register for the exam and pay the fee online. In addition, candidates take the exam on computers at the exam locations organized by the school.
In terms of content, the specialized competency assessment exam is organized and includes the subjects of Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature and English.
The results of the specialized competency assessment test will be used for admission according to the school's admission plan by combining both high school academic results and the specialized competency assessment test. Specifically, candidates who plan to apply for a major will register to take the competency assessment test corresponding to that major. This test score will be doubled when considering admission.
The results of the specialized competency assessment test are reserved for admission consideration within 2 years. Accordingly, grade 11 students can completely register to take the test to use the results for admission consideration in the following year.
Competency assessment exam of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City
Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City plans to hold 4 rounds of competency assessment exams from March to May. This is the second year the school has organized its own competency assessment exam. The exam fee is 115,000 VND/subject/candidate.
The exam consists of 6 independent subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, English, History, and Geography. Of which, Math has a 90-minute test time, the remaining 60 minutes are multiple-choice.

Vietnam-Germany University's Aptitude Test
The TestAs (Test for Academic Studies) is a separate exam of Vietnam-Germany University, and is scheduled to continue to be held in May this year.
The exam consists of two written tests, including a core test and a subject-specific test. For each specific field of study, candidates will register for the corresponding test in Mathematics, Computer Science and Natural Sciences; Engineering; or Economics.
The overall result of the entrance exam or valid TestAS certificate is determined from the results of two component exams in the following proportions: Basic knowledge exam accounts for 40% and specialized knowledge exam accounts for 60%.
In addition, candidates who do not fall under the school's regulations must take the English test of Vietnam-Germany University, including 4 skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Ministry of Public Security Assessment Exam
Major Trieu Thanh Dat, an expert from the Department of Training, Ministry of Public Security, said that this year, police schools will still organize their own capacity assessment exams to serve the regular admission to 8 universities and academies. This method accounts for 80% of the total enrollment quota for the schools. The exam schedule is expected to be about 10 days after the high school graduation exam.
Regarding the exam location, candidates will take the aptitude test at the school they register for. The structure and formula for calculating admission scores are the same as last year.
Assessment exam of Saigon University
Saigon University organizes two computer-based university entrance exams for 11th and 12th graders and independent candidates in April and May.

Candidates can register for many exams, register for many exams in the admission year and use the highest exam result to register for admission according to the admission announcement of Saigon University. Candidates register for each exam separately for 115,000 VND/subject.
