Group A: Indonesia (host), Malaysia, Philippines, Brunei Darussalam.

Group B: Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos.

Group C: Thailand, Myanmar, Timor-Leste.

The teams will compete in a round robin to determine their rankings. According to the rules, the top 3 teams and the second-placed team with the best results will advance to the semi-finals.

With this structure, U23 Vietnam has a relative advantage as they only need to overcome 2 opponents in the group to ensure a place in the next round. However, winning the top position in the group will give the team an advantage in terms of schedule and opponents in the next rounds.

The semi-finals and finals are scheduled to take place on July 25 and July 29 respectively at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium - known as the "hotbed" of Indonesian football. This is a stadium with a large capacity and a vibrant atmosphere, promising to create dramatic matches.

The tournament is an opportunity for U23 Vietnam to affirm its position and prepare for bigger goals, especially the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand at the end of 2025.
