High school graduation exam schedule 2014
On April 1, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) announced the 2014 high school graduation exam schedule, subjects, exam format and exam time. Accordingly, this year's high school graduation exam will take place over 2.5 days.

For High School Education: Exam in 4 subjects, including 2 compulsory subjects (Math, Literature) and 2 subjects chosen by candidates from the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Foreign Language; for Foreign Language, candidates choose one of the following languages: English, Russian, French, Chinese (according to the 7-year program) and German, Japanese (according to the Pilot Project program).
For Continuing Education: Exam in 4 subjects, including 2 compulsory subjects (Math, Literature) and 2 subjects chosen by the candidate from the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography.
Subjects: Math, Literature, History, Geography are tested in essay form; Physics, Chemistry, Biology are tested in multiple choice form. The Literature exam has 2 parts: Reading comprehension and writing; the Foreign Language exam has 2 parts: Writing and multiple choice.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires the Departments of Education and Training to seriously, promptly and in accordance with the prescribed form; to fully update exam data and check to ensure accuracy before reporting to the Ministry of Education and Training.
The Ministry stipulates that pre-exam reports must be submitted no later than May 16, 2014; Quick exam reports must be submitted no later than 12:30 p.m. for morning exams and 6:30 p.m. for afternoon exams (the structure of the report files is exported from the exam management software).
In addition, the Ministry requests a preliminary report on the results of the examination, graduation recognition and the examination database to be sent to the Department of Education Quality Control and Assessment no later than June 18, 2014. After reporting to the Ministry of Education and Training, the Director of the Department of Education and Training shall announce the graduation results and notify high schools to post the list of graduates and issue temporary graduation certificates to candidates.
The Ministry of Education and Training emphasized that, in addition to the above reports, if there are special situations during exam invigilation and grading days, the Departments of Education and Training must immediately report to the Central Steering Committee for High School Graduation Exams./.
