English Football Association refuses to vote for FIFA president
The rift between the English Football Association (FA) and FIFA is deepening.
The vote to choose the person to sit in the most powerful chair of world football will take place on June 1. Currently, the two most serious candidates are current president Sepp Blatter and President of the Asian Football Confederation Mohamed Bin Hammam.

"We will work to bring about changes that we believe are in the best interests of the entire football world," the statement said.
Without specifying, everyone can understand that the FA's decision stems from the controversy after the country failed in the race to host the 2018 World Cup.
Not long ago, two officials in the FIFA Executive Committee (ExCo) were prosecuted for allegedly offering to sell votes in the 2018 and 2022 World Cup venue elections.
Last week, former FA chairman Lord Triesman and the Sunday Times (UK) accused four other FIFA members of making demands in exchange for votes.
In the vote, Britain only won two votes. Russia was the winner.
