Nghe An Football Federation organizes many outstanding activities in 2024
On the morning of January 11, Nghe An Football Federation held a ceremony to summarize activities in 2024 and discuss directions and key tasks for 2025.
Attending the closing ceremony were Mr. Hoang Van Phuc - Deputy Director of Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports; Mr. Tran Trung Tuyen - Permanent Vice President of Nghe An Football Federation.
Presenting the 2024 year-end summary report ofNghe An Football Federation, Mr. Tran Trung Tuyen - Permanent Vice President of the Federation highlighted that in 2024, Nghe An Football Federation coordinated with Song Lam Nghe An Football Joint Stock Company, Song Lam Nghe An Supporters Association to organize and cheer for national football matches at Vinh Stadium and other stadiums nationwide; supported the Department of Education and Training in football refereeing in the 2024 Provincial Phu Dong Sports Festival; coordinated with the Vietnam Football Federation, SLNA Sports Joint Stock Company to organize an advanced football referee training course in May 2024; completed the dossier and was approved by the Vietnam Football Federation as an official member of the Vietnam Football Federation from November 2024.
Along with that, the Federation successfully organized the 2024 Nghe An S2 7-a-side Football Championship, Fujiland Cup; coordinated with Nghe An Amateur Football Company Limited to successfully organize the Nghe An U23 Football Tournament for the Trong Dong Restaurant Cup, giving gifts to the Organizing Committee and participating teams; coordinated with Nghe An Football to successfully organize the S1 Spring Charity Football Tournament for the Phuoc Vinh Auto Cup.
The Federation has coordinated with press agencies to call for gifts for many disadvantaged people in mountainous areas.
In addition to the achieved results, Nghe An Provincial Football Federation also frankly acknowledged some limitations such as, in the process of implementing activities, there have not been many breakthroughs, most of the members of the Executive Committee are self-employed, many professions, so the coordination work is sometimes not smooth, and the efficiency is not high.
On the other hand, the operating budget of the Federation is not guaranteed, mainly relying on the support of organizations and individuals, so the implementation of the Federation's activities faces many difficulties. Many of the Federation's committees operate ineffectively and passively. Some Federation members have a low sense of responsibility.
Also at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Trung Tuyen presented a report on the direction and tasks of Nghe An Football Federation in 2025. Notably, the Federation will coordinate with Song Lam Nghe An Football Joint Stock Company to organize and encourage cheering for national football matches at Vinh Stadium and other stadiums nationwide; coordinate with localities, enterprises and Song Lam Sports Joint Stock Company to organize a number of football matches for charity purposes; coordinate with the Vietnam Football Federation and SLNA Sports Joint Stock Company to organize a training course for referees and football coaches in Nghe An; coordinate with units to organize grassroots football tournaments well.
On this occasion, Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports awarded Certificates of Merit to 9 individuals with outstanding activities; Nghe An Football Federation awarded Certificates of Merit to organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements.
