(Baonghean.vn) - Unlike the group stage match against Malaysia on November 16, the Vietnam Football Federation will release 25,000 tickets for online sale if the Vietnamese team reaches the semi-finals of the AFF Cup 2018.

In recent days, Vietnamese fans have had a hard time buying tickets to watch the match between Vietnam and Malaysia at My Dinh Stadium on November 16.

Faced with the tense market situation for tickets to the AFF Cup matches over the past two days, the VFF held an urgent meeting to find ways to resolve problems in ticket sales, bring tickets directly to fans, and avoid speculation and selling tickets on the black market.

One of the measures proposed is that VFF will change the ticket selling method from the current official dispatch and direct sale to online sale. This online ticket sale will be carried out right at the AFF Cup semi-final matches in early December, if the Vietnam team passes the group stage. The expected number of online sales is 25,000 tickets. In the Vietnam - Malaysia match, the number of online tickets sold was only 3,700 tickets.

It is known that VFF will also send tickets by post to fans. For those who do not receive tickets by post, VFF will spend 1-2 days to return the tickets to them at VFF headquarters. With this method of selling tickets, fans will have many advantages in owning tickets to watch the team compete.

VFF said it had sold 24,000 tickets and issued more than 4,000 invitations; 10,000 tickets that were not sold by VFF were used to sell to sponsors of Vietnam's national teams; tournament organizers, agencies related to VFF, VFF member organizations, Vietnam Football Fans Association and localities...
