Nghe An Martial Arts Federation elects new Executive Committee for term 2021-2025
(Baonghean.vn) - After a term with successes and difficulties, the new Nghe An Martial Arts Federation with the presence of 13 members in the Executive Committee is expected to continue promoting the development of the province's martial arts.
Established in 1993, the appearance of Nghe An Martial Arts Federation is a milestone for the long-term development of the province's martial arts. Currently, in Nghe An, there are a total of 75 clubs of various disciplines. Of which, there are 27 Traditional Clubs, 29 Karatedo Clubs, 8 Taekwondo Clubs, 6 Boxing Clubs and 5 Kick-Boxing Clubs with hundreds of members.

On the morning of January 23 in Vinh City, Nghe An Martial Arts Federation held a congress of delegates to evaluate and summarize its activities.Federation term 2013-2018and set out directions and tasks for the 2021-2025 term.
In recent times, the clubs have been very active, attracting a large number of martial arts students to practice regularly. The martial arts movement at the grassroots level has been maintained strongly with over 2,000 martial arts students regularly practicing. From 2013 to present, Nghe An Martial Arts Federation has organized 6 Traditional Martial Arts Championships of Nghe An province, 8 Karatedo Championships and 2 Taekwondo Championships. Typical examples are the Traditional Martial Arts Championship of Sen Village Festival, Traditional Championship of Emperor Quang Trung Cup...
Although there are still some limitations and difficulties such as operating costs from socialized sources and organizational structure, with the support of the Vietnam Martial Arts Federation and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Executive Committee in recent years has made maximum efforts, contributing significantly to the overall development of the province's martial arts.

At the Congress, the Nghe An Martial Arts Federation frankly acknowledged the difficulties and challenges. At the same time, it analyzed its own advantages and strengths to find a direction for development. In particular, the issue of socialization and finding strong financial resources is a decisive issue.
The Congress of Nghe An Martial Arts Federation elected 13 members of the Executive Committee, 3 more members than the previous term.Grand Master, Coach Bui Duy Vinh as Chairman. These members are all individuals with many years of experience in martial arts, including businesses, referees, and lecturers at universities.

Delegates and members attending the Congress discussed and contributed many ideas to promote martial arts training movement in Nghe An, and at the same time find solutions for Nghe An martial arts athletes to achieve more achievements.
On this occasion, Nghe An Martial Arts Federation also represented the Vietnam Martial Arts Federation to present Certificates of Merit to individuals who have made great contributions to the movement of building and developing martial arts. In addition, it honored and awarded certificates of merit to athletes with outstanding achievements in international and national tournaments.
