The 9th International Food Festival
The festival was attended by 50 restaurants and hotels representing the cuisines of more than 20 countries and territories around the world.
On the evening of December 5 at 23/9 Park in Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the City Tourism Association opened the 9th International Food Festival.
Coming to the festival, visitors have the opportunity to learn about diverse cultures and enjoy typical dishes of many countries in the world with many attractive experiences through activities such as: culinary performance and service at booths; 5-star chef festival; participating in the program introducing wines of different countries; introducing, performing and teaching food preparation by the World Culinary Culture Research Institute; Bartender mixing art.

The festival also had the participation of units and restaurants that met the standards of the Ho Chi Minh City - 100 Interesting Things program; vocational schools training restaurants and Consulates General and foreign representatives in Ho Chi Minh City.
This is an opportunity to introduce to domestic and international friends the tourism brand of the city named after Uncle Ho, which is vibrant with many rich cultural tourism activities and is actively integrating into the international economy.
Ms. Tran Thi Thu Thao, representative of Korean food restaurant at the international food festival said: "Our restaurant has sweet rice cakes, spicy rice cakes, Korean fried rice noodles, and black bean noodles. These dishes are made by Koreans, so there are many foreign groups coming here to exchange and travel, to learn more about Vietnam's tourist destinations. Although the dishes are a bit different in taste, foreign tourists still try them enthusiastically"./.
