Photo and documentary film festival on environmental protection and climate change in the ASEAN community
On July 22, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Information and Communications held a press conference to launch the 2013 Photo and Documentary Film Festival on Environmental Protection and Climate Change in the ASEAN Community with the theme “Environmental Protection and Climate Change in the ASEAN Community”..

The purpose of the Festival is to aim at the ASEAN vision of building a community of caring societies, building a "clean and green ASEAN", with a completely stable mechanism for sustainable development, environmental protection, ensuring the sustainability of the region's natural resources and the quality of life of ASEAN countries. At the same time, promoting cooperation and mutual understanding among countries in the process of building a strong ASEAN community and implementing the ASEAN Charter.
Entries include: photos, photo groups, reportage films, documentaries with topics reflecting the current situation and impacts on environmental protection and climate change in a dynamic, potential ASEAN.
Participants are organizations, individuals or groups of authors with the nationality of ASEAN member countries. Each author is allowed to submit a maximum of 10 works for each category (For each group of photos, reports, and photo series, the maximum is no more than 20 photos).
Entries must provide full information regarding the origin of the work and must not have participated in any international competition.
Contest entries should be sent to the Center for Journalism and International Media Cooperation - Ministry of Information and Communications (61 Tho Nhuom, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi) from now until October 30, 2013 (Vietnam time).
The Organizing Committee plans to summarize and award prizes in December 2013./.
