Theater festival to welcome the National Party Congress

From January 12 to 17, the Department of Arts in coordination with the Vietnam Stage Artists Association organized the "Festival of outstanding stage works to welcome the 12th National Congress of the Party" at theaters and performance halls in the capital.

This activity demonstrates the deep affection, attachment and trust of artists and people nationwide towards the Party and the State, encouraging the victory of the upcoming congress. The festival has the participation of 10 professional central and local stage art units, selecting to perform 11 excellent works in the favorite repertoire.

Specifically, the opening ceremony will take place at 8 p.m. on January 12 at the Hanoi Opera House, with the Vietnam Drama Theater opening with the play "Sand Castle". On the evening of January 13, the Hanoi Cheo Theater will perform the play "White Bird in the Night" at Dai Nam Theater (89 Hue Street); the Vietnam Tuong Theater will perform the play "Mother's Love" at Hong Ha Theater (51 Duong Thanh). On the evening of January 14, the CAND Drama Troupe will perform "Duong Rach Trong Dat" at Au Co Art Center (8 Huynh Thuc Khang); the Vietnam Cheo Theater will perform "Nhung Tho Thep" at Kim Ma Theater (71 Kim Ma).
