Lien Hop (Quy Hop) celebrates the 50th anniversary of the commune's founding.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 17, Lien Hop commune (Quy Hop) solemnly celebrated the 50th anniversary of the commune's founding (April 17, 1965 - April 17, 2015).

On April 17, 1965, the Minister of the Interior issued Decision No. 143 approving the separation of a part of the territory and population of Dac Loc commune into Lien Hop commune. When the commune was first established, it had a Party cell with 19 party members. The whole commune had 6 villages with 120 households and 446 people.
Over half a century of growth and development, the Party Committee and people of Lien Hop commune have been united and striving to make Lien Hop homeland develop more and more. Lien Hop currently has 464 households with 2,064 Thai people living in 6 hamlets and villages. The Party Committee of the commune has 9 affiliated Party cells with 139 Party members. Although it is a particularly difficult commune, in 2014 the total production value increased more than 5 times compared to 10 years ago. The average annual economic growth rate of Lien Hop reached 9%. The average income per capita in 2014 was more than 11 million VND.
From 2000 to 2015, with the motto "the state and the people work together", the people of Lien Hop have contributed hundreds of millions of VND to build infrastructure with 5/6 hamlets having a meeting house, 02 inner hamlet roads have been concreted, and 03 low-voltage power stations have been built. The whole commune has 3/6 cultural hamlets. The rate of cultural families is 60%. The number of households using the national power grid is 80%. The number of households using clean water is more than 65%. National defense and security work, social order and safety are consolidated and strengthened, politics and society are stable, people's lives are gradually improved and enhanced. The rate of poor households is currently 31.01%. Up to now, Lien Hop commune has achieved 3/19 criteria in building new rural areas.

On behalf of the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Quy Hop district, comrade Phan Dinh Dat, Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the District People's Council, presented the Party Committee and people of Lien Hop commune with flowers and a statue of "50 years of striving to build and develop".
Also at the ceremony, 2 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the People's Committee of Nghe An province and 2 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the People's Committee of Quy Hop district for their outstanding achievements in 50 years of building and developing Lien Hop commune.
After the ceremony, Lien Hop commune organized cultural activities.
