(Baonghean.vn) - More than 400 delegates attending the Scientific Conference on tourism development linkage in the North - South Central region listened to 4 opinions discussing the reasons, goals and solutions for tourism development in the direction of regional linkage. In particular, there were opinions sharing tourism development experiences of delegates from abroad.
Opening the discussion session, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Dinh Thien - Director of the Vietnam Economic Institute affirmed that the North Central region is a region with many unique and high-class tourism resources, even at the international level - such as the Son Doong - Phong Nha - Ke Bang cave area (Quang Binh), Bach Ma Mountain, Lang Co beach (Thua Thien - Hue), Vu Quang National Forest (Ha Tinh), Pu Mat National Forest, Cua Lo beach (Nghe An), Suoi Ca Than (Thanh Hoa), etc.

According to him, in the condition that tourism in the North Central region is still relatively underdeveloped and behind other regions, Inter-regional Tourism Development Linkage is one of the prerequisites for tourism development in the North Central region.
