Provincial Cooperative Union organizes competition for skilled workers

(Baonghean.vn) - On September 10 in Vinh City, the Provincial Cooperative Union organized the 4th Handicraft Skill Competition in 2014. Participating in the competition were 26 workers working in handicrafts in craft villages, cooperatives, and small and medium enterprises selected from localities in the province.

The professions that organized the competition this time include 3 professions: Fine art carpentry, confectionery production and incense production. During 1 day, candidates from craft villages, cooperatives, small and medium enterprises went through 2 parts: oral questions and practical product making. Through the competition, the aim is to create a movement of emulation in production labor, maintain and develop traditional crafts of localities. Timely encourage and motivate craftsmen in craft villages to promote their talents and intelligence to produce traditional products, new products, contribute to maintaining and preserving the values ​​of craft villages, create motivation for building and developing craft villages. At the same time, create unique products, contribute to solving employment and increasing income for people.

After a day of intense and exciting competition, the organizing committee selected 15 prize-winning contestants, including 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 6 consolation prizes.

The first prize in fine art carpentry went to Mr. Pham Xuan Bac - Nam Thang carpentry village, Quynh Hung commune (Quynh Luu). The first prize in peanut candy production went to Mrs. Phan Thi Luu - Dong Ha confectionery village, Dien Van commune (Dien Chau). The first prize in incense production went to Mrs. Phan Thi Hong - Tan Huong 2 incense village, Tan Lac town (Quy Chau).

Second prize in fine art carpentry: Mr. Ha Van Phong - Thuan Giang carpentry village, Quynh Hung commune (Quynh Luu). Second prize in peanut candy production: Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuc - Trung Thanh CBNSTP village, Nghi Hoa commune (Nghi Loc). Second prize in incense production: Mrs. Lang Thi Ha - Incense village, block 1, Tan Lac town (Quy Chau).

Third prize in fine carpentry: Mr. Nguyen Van Dai - Thuong Nguyen craft village, Quynh Hong commune (Quynh Luu). Third prize in peanut candy production: Mrs. Nguyen Thi Phu - Dong Nhat peanut candy production village, Hung Chau commune (Hung Nguyen). Third prize in incense production: Mrs. Cu Thi Huong - incense production village, Quynh Doi commune (Quynh Luu).
