Nghe An Press Alliance won the 3rd Central Press Football Cup
(Baonghean.vn) – After 2 days of competition, on the afternoon of June 5, the 3rd Central Press Football Tournament 2016 concluded. The Nghe An Press Alliance successfully defended the championship title.
Attending the closing ceremony and awarding the teams were leaders of the Department of Information and Communications, Vietnam Journalists Association of Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Thua Thien Hue provinces.

The 3rd Central Press Football Tournament 2016 had 8 teams participating, coming from the following localities: Hanoi, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Thua Thien Hue and Da Nang. This year's tournament took place in 2 days, June 4-5, with 16 exciting and attractive matches.

Tournament results: Nghe An Press Alliance stepped up to the highest position, successfully defending the championship title; Nghe An Radio & Television Station won the runner-up position and Thua Thien Hue Press Alliance won the third prize overall.

Also at this tournament, delegates and participating teams organized a donation to support the families of victims of the recent bus explosion in Laos, raising 20 million VND.
The Central Press Football Tournament will be held in rotation among localities. The 4th tournament will be hosted by Thua Thien Hue province and will take place in June 2017.
