Military Region 4: Completed the election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels
(Baonghean) -Along with voters nationwide enthusiastically voting for the 13th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2011-2016 term, on the morning of May 22, 2011, 100% of voters of agencies and units under Military Region 4 enthusiastically exercised their civil rights.
At exactly 7:00 a.m. on May 22, at 37 separate election groups at the unit and 149 joint election groups with localities, the Election Steering Committees at all levels of Military Region 4 did a good job of preparing, disseminating and guiding the regulations and methods of voting in accordance with the law.
With the spirit of democracy and responsibility, officers and soldiers of the armed forces of Military Region 4 have focused on further research on the brief biographies of the candidates to wisely choose representatives with sufficient virtue and talent to represent the will and aspirations of the people before the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels. To ensure that the election is conducted in accordance with the law and with quality, the Election Steering Committees at all levels in the Military Region's armed forces have focused on thoroughly disseminating and studying contents related to the election work. In particular, special attention has been paid to educating over 20,000 voters who directly participated in the election of deputies to the 13th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the first time to participate in the election according to the correct procedure.
For units on combat readiness duty, the Party Committee, commanders, and unit Election Steering Committees have organized additional ballot boxes to be placed at combat positions and teams on combat readiness duty, so that voters can take turns on duty, exercising their rights and obligations as citizens to the Fatherland.
Thanks to good preparation, on the morning of the election day, 100% of voters, including new soldiers, first-year soldiers, and second-year soldiers, successfully fulfilled their civic rights.
With the spirit of urgency, seriousness, and compliance with the law, by 3:00 p.m. on May 22, 2011, 100% of voters in agencies and units in the Military Region 4 had completed the task of electing deputies to the 13th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels. Immediately after the election, the Election Steering Committees at all levels of Military Region 4 organized working groups to conduct timely inspections and draw lessons from the election work in the entire Military Region.
