A batch of helmets of unknown origin from Ho Chi Minh City to Thanh Hoa

(Baonghean.vn) - At the police station, the driver confessed to driving for hire for a person in Ho Chi Minh City to Thanh Hoa for sale.

At around 2:00 p.m. on November 25, while patrolling National Highway 1A, avoiding Vinh City, in Dai Dong hamlet, Hung Tay commune, the Traffic Police force of Hung Nguyen Public Security temporarily detained a car transporting goods of unknown origin.

Traffic police organized to check the evidence.

Upon inspection, the truck with license plate 89C - 09992, driven by Nguyen Dinh Thanh, residing in Hai Ba Trung Ward, Phu Ly City, Ha Nam Province, was found to be transporting 12 boxes containing 1,500 fashionable helmets of unknown origin.

At the investigation agency, the driver stated that he was transporting the above goods for a person in Ho Chi Minh City to Thanh Hoa for consumption. At the time of inspection, the driver could not present documents proving the origin of the goods.

Currently, Hung Nguyen Police have drawn up a record to confiscate and destroy the above helmets according to regulations.
