Dangerous toys

(Baonghean) - I and some friends in Hanoi went to watch the fireworks display in Cua Lo Town on the night of April 30. While waiting, at about 8 p.m., we had just sat down on the chairs prepared on the beach when suddenly a blue beam of light shot past us, flew about 5 meters and then stuck in the sand amid the cheers of the children.

Seeing a strange toy, I followed the children to see what it was. It was a hard plastic arrow with an electronic bulb and a small battery inside. At the tip of the arrow there was a hook to hook a rubber band. When using it, just pull the rubber band tight, press the switch at the back and let go, the plastic arrow flew away, emitting light. The children said it was a new type of "rubber cannon" imported from China.

This is a type of night toy for children at Cua Lo beach, very dangerous because it can cause damage if it hits the face, especially the eyes. We request that the authorities take measures to eliminate this type of dangerous toy. Parents, brothers and sisters should not let their children use the above mentioned artillery guns to avoid unpredictable consequences, so that Cua Lo is a civilized and safe beach for tourists.
