In the exhibition "Water Drops Falling on Glass", images of the late musician Trinh Cong Son and singer Hong Nhung are published for the first time through the lens of photographer Duong Minh Long.

The exhibition "Water Drops on Glass" - taking place from April 2 to April 30 at the Deutsches Haus building (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), first published more than 80 black and white photos capturing beautiful moments in the musical "love story" between the late musician Trinh Cong Son and diva Hong Nhung.

Accordingly, the photo series was taken by photographer Duong Minh Long. It is known that he is one of the people who kept many images of musician Trinh Cong Son. According to the sharing, he also kept more than 9,000 color and black and white films of the talented musician over the past 33 years.

In the series of photos revealed, there are rare photos, published to the public for the first time. In particular, many visitors were interested in the photos of singer Hong Nhung and the late musician when she first started her career.

The moment Trinh Cong Son and Hong Nhung talked in 1993. This was when the two were discussing the song "Bong Bong Oi" - one of the first compositions Trinh Cong Son dedicated to Hong Nhung.

The two sat at the foot of the stairs chatting, above them was a poster of Khanh Ly’s album cover “White Summer”. This was the time when Hong Nhung started her career in Ho Chi Minh City.

The photo was taken by photographer Duong Minh Long in 1997, capturing the moment when musician Trinh Cong Son went on stage to give flowers to Hong Nhung during a music night at a tea room in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Hong Nhung shared that she and musician Trinh Cong Son got along very well because they both liked to joke around. When she first started her career, the female singer received a lot of criticism for her appearance, but she didn't care too much because she always had a musician who loved her.

Photographer Duong Minh Long said that Hong Nhung once gave up singing to study business administration. However, it was musician Trinh Cong Son who rekindled her passion for singing and opened a milestone in her journey to pursue art.

The photo of Hong Nhung taken at Van Thanh area, Ho Chi Minh City in 1997 attracted the attention of many visitors at the exhibition. At that time, the female singer impressed with her youthful beauty, crooked smile and deep eyes.

Hong Nhung took a photo with her father, translator Le Van Vien, which delighted viewers. Initially, photographer Duong Minh Long did not want to include the photo because the character was shirtless. However, Hong Nhung herself took the initiative to ask the author to publish it because she wanted viewers to feel a sense of familiarity.

In addition, the exhibition also displays images from the live concert “Who is Bong?” by singer Hong Nhung that took place recently.
