The impact of storm No. 10 has caused serious damage to Nghe An province, especially the newly established Hoang Mai town. Storm No. 10 has killed and injured many people; tens of thousands of houses were damaged and had their roofs blown off; tens of thousands of hectares of rice, crops and aquaculture areas were flooded, thousands of livestock and poultry were swept away; many schools, clinics and public works were severely damaged... Currently, children, students and people of Hoang Mai town are in extremely difficult circumstances, needing help from people inside and outside the province.

The Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province would like to express his deepest condolences to the families of those who lost or were injured and send his warmest regards to all the people of Hoang Mai town and the affected areas in the province due to the storm and flood.
