After committing the crime, Thu used a tarpaulin to dry agricultural products and wrapped Mrs. Phuc's body, then tied it up with a rope. Then, Thu took the tarpaulin containing Ms. Thu's body to the family's pigsty to hide. To hide her heinous crime, Thu tried to clean up the blood stains on the walls and floor, and neatly arranged the furniture in the house.

At this time, Thu told her about beating Mrs. Phuc to death. At 7 p.m. on November 12, Thu and her husband used a motorbike to transport Mrs. Phuc's body to the drainage ditch in Ea Te village (Krong Jing commune, M'drak district) to dispose of the body.

After finishing, Thu went to her family's hut to take a shower, change clothes, and then went home to live normally as if nothing had happened. Before that, on the evening of November 12, after not seeing Mrs. Phuc return, Mrs. Phuc's family split up to look for her and reported to the police.
