Only when we were in Muong Xen Town in late September 2012 did we see this problem. Passenger cars running on the Muong Xen - Vinh route pick up and drop off passengers right in the middle of the road. Especially, the situation where people have turned the road into a parking lot. There are sections of the road where hundreds of motorbikes are parked close together in the middle of the road. The traffic scene here is chaotic, vehicles are intertwined and jostling each other, causing difficulties for motor vehicles when traveling here. Not to mention the Muong Xen Town section where trucks carrying goods are parked on the road and selling goods. Some people here said: Traffic collisions here happen frequently, if this situation continues, in addition to ensuring traffic, it will also ruin the beauty of the center of a town.

It is recommended that the authorities of Ky Son area promptly rectify and resolve the situation of encroachment on the roadside to ensure traffic safety.
