Advanced Political Theory Class K75.A14 conducts field research in Nghe An province

The practical research program of the K75.A14 Concentrated Political Advanced Class, 2024 - 2025 course, led by Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy - Deputy Director of the Institute of Leadership and Public Administration, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics; Master Nguyen Thi Nhu Hoa - Class leader, Deputy Head of the delegation, and 38 students of K75.A14 class.

At the meeting, comrade Ho Viet Dung - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance gave general information about Nghe An province; improving the environment, business investment, enhancing competitiveness, and attracting investment in Nghe An province.

Accordingly, the Resolution of the 19th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025, identified "Strongly improving the investment and business environment associated with administrative reform, enhancing the application of information technology in management and operation" as one of the three development breakthroughs and an important and regular political task of local Party committees and authorities at all levels.

Over the years, changes in approaches and methods from building mechanisms and policies to implementation practices have created achievements in attracting investment in the province, especially attracting foreign direct investment (FDI).

From a low-lying area in attracting investment, Nghe An has gradually transformed itself, preparing the necessary conditions to become a nesting place for technology "eagles", continuously entering the top 10 in attracting FDI in the country.

In the coming period, the province will continue to synchronously implement solutions to improve the investment and business environment, and increase the efficiency of investment attraction. In particular, the province will always focus on and resolutely carry out 5 tasks: readiness in planning; readiness in essential infrastructure; readiness in investment sites; readiness in human resources; readiness in supporting procedures for investors.

Next, comrade Dau Dinh Duong - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs informed about the results of administrative reform, training and attracting human resources of the province in recent times.

Accordingly, with many synchronous and drastic solutions, administrative reform in Nghe An has had many positive changes, the direction and administration of authorities at all levels has been more drastic, faster and more effective. The awareness, attitude and spirit of serving the people and businesses of cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees have basically had positive changes.

In 2025, the administrative reform theme of the People's Committee of Nghe An province is drastic, timely - disciplined, exemplary - Taking the satisfaction of people and businesses as a measure of administrative reform. The People's Committee of Nghe An province sets out many groups of tasks such as: Institutional reform; administrative procedure reform; reform of the state administrative apparatus; reform of the civil service regime; public finance reform; building and developing e-government and digital government.

At the meeting, many contents were discussed and exchanged between leaders of departments and branches with students of the class such as: Solutions to improve the environment, business investment, enhance competitiveness, attract FDI investment in Nghe An; support policies, tax and fee reduction, support for businesses to access credit sources and restructure debt repayment terms, reduce interest rates; breakthrough solutions to promote digital transformation in Nghe An; policies on training, fostering and attracting talents; building high-quality human resources to meet the needs of investment enterprises in the area,...

Speaking at the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Thanh Thuy said that in the process of implementing its tasks, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics always focuses on ensuring the connection between theory and practice, learning and practice in research, teaching and training. Therefore, practical research activities of the students, including the Advanced level of political theory, are always given attention and facilitated by the Academy's leaders.

The working session with departments and branches of Nghe An province helped the students of the Advanced Political Theory class K75.A14 have more information to compare theory with practice, to selectively learn, draw experiences, and contribute to improving the practical work of agencies, units, and localities.

At the same time, the Delegation would like to thank the leaders of Nghe An province and the departments and branches for creating conditions and arranging time for the Delegation to have a working session and conduct practical research in the locality; that not only helps the Delegation complete its research and study tasks well, but also is a source of inspiration and encouragement for the Delegation members in their studies and in performing their professional tasks in the future.

During the field research program in Nghe An, the Advanced Political Theory class K75.A14, course 2024 - 2025, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics organized a ceremony to offer incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and visit the Kim Lien and Nam Dan historical relics cluster; offer incense and visit the Nghe Tinh Soviet historical relic site, Truong Bon historical relic site; and present volunteer works at Thanh Ngoc Primary School, Thanh Chuong.
