(Baonghean) -In the recent 2011 university entrance exam, Thanh Chuong I High School had 920 candidates taking the exam. According to preliminary statistics, the average exam score was 14.01 points, ranking 4th in the province (after Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, Vinh University's Math Specialized Block and Huynh Thuc Khang School) and ranked 177/3500 high schools nationwide. Class 12A (Thanh Chuong I High School) had 100% of students passing the university entrance exam, including 2 runners-up.

Class 12A has 50 students, each with different circumstances but all with the same aspiration of "studying to establish a career". Right from the time they entered grade 10, the homeroom teacher thoroughly explained the rules, developed a plan and specific learning goals, from which teachers and students all tried their best. The class was assigned a homeroom teacher and subject teachers who were all young teachers with high professional qualifications and solid pedagogical skills, dedicated to students. Mr. Nguyen Canh Tai, homeroom teacher, taught Math, was the core subject of the group; Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, Chemistry teacher, graduated with honors from university and Mr. Nguyen The Trung, Physics teacher, Head of the Physics group of the school.

Most of the students in the class come from farming families with many economic difficulties, so in addition to regular school hours, they mainly attend extra classes organized by the school and do not have the conditions to attend training centers. Nguyen Trong Tai, the second-place winner of the National Economics University (28.5 points), shared: "You have to determine your own goals and motivations for studying to strive. There is no need to waste time in training centers, the main thing is to have a firm grasp of the knowledge in class, if you do not understand, you have to ask the teacher again, discuss with friends..." The experience of the students of class 12A is that in addition to self-studying and researching at home, they must always have a firm grasp of the types of exercises and questions and increase exchange, group discussion, and debate in class to come up with the most optimal method of doing the test. With that effective way of studying, at the provincial excellent student exam in the 2010-2011 school year, class 12A had 7 excellent students in the province in the subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry. Notably, in the recent university entrance exam, 100% of the class's students passed the entrance exam to top universities, with 2 runners-up: Nguyen Trong Tai (runner-up of National Economics University with 28.5 points), and Nguyen Xuan Tam (runner-up of Construction University with 27.5 points) and 17 students with scores of 25 or higher, 94% of students with scores of 20 or higher.

Mr. Le Dinh Huong, Principal of the school, shared: "The achievements of teachers and students of class 12A in the recent university entrance exam are not too surprising. Because throughout the 3 years of study, the class has always been at the top of the school in terms of academic achievements, the class's self-awareness in studying is high, the teachers are dedicated and capable... The school's success is in building a good learning environment, each student always strives to improve, especially the coordination and interaction between teachers and students is very close...".

With the arrangement of teachers according to 4 principles: Prioritizing key classes, prioritizing final classes, prioritizing staff training, and prioritizing quota regulation, it has created motivation for each teacher to strive, make efforts to improve their expertise, professionalism, and be dedicated to their students. The achievements of teachers and students of class 12A are vivid proof of the success of that "golden principle", contributing to the glory of the school with a 50-year tradition...
