Brigade 283 hands over "Comrades' House" in Hung Dung Ward (Vinh City)

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of October 5, at Xuan Tien block, Hung Dung ward, Vinh city, Nghe An province, Air Defense Brigade 283 (Military Region 4) coordinated with the Party Committee and authorities of Hung Dung ward to organize the handover ceremony of "Comrades' House" to Senior Lieutenant Le Xuan Khanh, Propaganda officer - Political Department, Brigade.



Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Cong Tue, Deputy Political Commissar of Brigade 283 and comrade Nguyen Duc Trung, Secretary of Hung Dung Ward Party Committee presented the key to "Comrades' House" to comrade Khanh's family.

Comrade Khanh has served in the unit for nearly 20 years. His family's circumstances are very difficult. His father died early, his mother is old and weak, both paternal and maternal sides are in the countryside, his wife has no stable job, and he has two small children and has had to rent a house for many years. The "Comrades' House" was handed over to Senior Lieutenant Le Xuan Khanh with an area of ​​70 square meters and was built from the end of June 2012 with a total investment of 160 million VND. Of which, the Military Region supported 60 million VND from the "Comrades' Fund", local authorities, relatives, and neighbors supported 50 million VND, and the remaining amount was from the family's efforts. During the construction process, officers and soldiers of the 283rd Air Defense Brigade helped the family with 200 working days.

After more than 3 months of urgent construction under the close supervision of the Brigade's officers and soldiers, Party committees, authorities, relatives, and neighbors, the comrade's house was handed over with guaranteed quality and in accordance with the construction design.
