Brigade 873: Transport Ship Technical Competition

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 6 and 7, 2014, Brigade 873, Logistics Department of Military Region 4 organized the first Technical Competition of 2014. Participating in the competition were 5 dry cargo ships, with capacity from 90 - 750 Horsepower, with tonnage from 70 - 450 tons, along with 20 officers and crew members of Battalion 682 and Battalion 2 of the Brigade.

The jury judges the examination of preservation and maintenance work on ships.

The contest includes the following contents: Good ship competition; vehicle uniformity; vehicle care, preservation, maintenance and repair; safety equipment; building standard ships and the Law on Inland Waterways Traffic.

The Brigade's technical competition is one of the forms and methods of specialized technical training, to properly assess the quality of training and the ability to ensure technical work, preservation, maintenance and repair of ships and boats of officers and crew members of ships, thereby, the Brigade draws experience to continue directing specialized training, preservation, maintenance and technical assurance work, contributing to the completion of water transport tasks, serving the tasks required by the Military Region.

The competition results showed that 100% of the vehicles met the technical coefficient. The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Ship 15-11-26, Battalion 682 and the second prize to Ship 15-11-02, Battalion 682. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, and 2 third prizes to individuals with outstanding achievements in the competition.
