Fire Police and Rescue Force: 50 years of following Uncle Ho's teachings

(Baonghean) -At the large hall of Nghe An Provincial Police, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH) organized an exchange session "Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Force 50 years following Uncle Ho's teachings".

Attending the meeting were Lieutenant General Pham Quy Ngo - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Lieutenant General To Thuong - Director General of the General Department of Police for Administrative Management of Social Order; Colonel Do Van Son - Director of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police and 200 delegates representing generations of fire prevention and fighting officers through the periods of the police of 55 provinces and cities across the country.

At the meeting, generations of fire prevention and fighting officers from 55 provinces and cities across the country reviewed the tradition of 50 years ago, when President Ho Chi Minh signed the Ordinance regulating the State's management of fire prevention and fighting. Since then, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police force has achieved many outstanding achievements, with 15 units recognized as Heroes of the People's Armed Forces; the Fire Prevention and Fighting Force has been awarded 2 Ho Chi Minh Medals by the Party and the State and many other noble Medals and Orders...

Along with the development of the country, in response to the increasing demands of fire prevention and fighting, the staff and soldiers of the Fire Police force have constantly improved their professional qualifications. Up to now, there have been 15 doctors and 40 masters who have received basic training domestically and abroad; 1,414 officers have university and college degrees. In addition, every year, the Fire Prevention University also trains hundreds of students with intermediate to university degrees, supplementing the fire prevention and fighting force nationwide and for Laos and Cambodia.

Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Pham Quy Ngo - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security emphasized: The Party and the State always pay close attention to and direct the work of fire prevention and fighting and the fire prevention and fighting police force. That is an invaluable source of spiritual encouragement for the fire prevention and fighting police force to grow and develop as it is today. Therefore, the entire fire prevention and fighting police force needs to continue to promote the movement of following Uncle Ho's teachings, constantly study, practice, strive to build a regular, elite and gradually modern fire prevention and fighting police force to excellently complete the task, contribute to ensuring social order and safety, serving the cause of national construction and defense.

Previously, delegates participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony to inaugurate the headquarters of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Nghe An Public Security in Nghi An Commune - Vinh City. The headquarters was built on a total area of ​​30,000m2, from the state budget allocated through the Ministry of Public Security, with an amount of 24.7 billion VND.
