Round 1 of the national U19 qualifying round: Impressive HAGL, Viettel

The first round of the National U19 Qualifying Round - Ton Hoa Sen Cup 2014 officially took place on February 9 and 10. The biggest impression came from the performances of U19 Hoang Anh Gia Lai and U19 Viettel.

In Group A, Viettel continued to show the strength of its youth training center when it won an absolute victory against Vicem Hai Phong with a score of 4-0. Meanwhile, the highly rated team Nam Dinh unexpectedly lost 2-4 to Vissai Ninh Binh.

The match between two youth teams of two V-League clubs Than Quang Ninh and Hanoi T&T ended in a 1-1 draw.
