The leaders of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) have not yet made an official statement on how to overcome the penalty for coach Park Hang-seo. The regulation banning coach Park from directing 4 friendly matches that AFC gave him can actually be applied to the 2020 AFF Cup as well. Therefore, if the Vietnamese team does not play all 4 friendly matches, the prospect of coach Park being banned from directing at the AFF Cup is entirely possible.
