Lenin's theory illuminates the path of Vietnam's revolution
VI Lenin, the genius leader of the working class, working people and oppressed peoples all over the world...
VI Lenin, the genius leader of the working class, working people and oppressed peoples around the world, the successful leader of the first socialist revolution, opening a new era in human history - the era of transition from capitalism to socialism.
Absorbing, applying and developing Marxism in the spirit of revolution and creativity, Lenin led the working class and working people of Russia to bring the October Revolution to success, bringing the working people to the position of masters. As President Ho Chi Minh wrote, "Like the brilliant sun, the October Revolution shone across the five continents, awakening millions upon millions of oppressed and exploited people on earth.
In human history, there has never been a revolution of such great and profound significance.
The October Revolution and the birth of the Soviet Union had a profound impact on the fate of the peoples of the East, including Vietnam. In the 1920s, the patriotic Vietnamese youth Nguyen Ai Quoc came to Marxism-Leninism and found the path to national liberation.
Immediately after the victory of the Soviet Red Army in World War II, the Vietnamese people successfully carried out the August Revolution, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam - the first worker-peasant state in Southeast Asia. In the arduous and sacrificial struggle over the next 30 years to protect national independence and unify the country, our country received great support from the Soviet people, both spiritually and materially.
Today, in the context of many changes in the world, the traditional friendship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation continues to be maintained and developed to a new height. Political relations between the two countries are increasingly consolidated and developed; mutual trust increases; high-level exchanges between ministries, branches and localities of the two countries take place regularly.
Vietnam and the Russian Federation share the same views on many international and regional issues, and coordinate and support each other at international forums such as the United Nations, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and the ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF).
We celebrate the 141st anniversary of Lenin's birth at a time when our Party has just successfully organized the 11th National Congress, with the adoption of the Platform for National Construction in the Transitional Period to Socialism (supplemented and developed in 2011); the Socio-Economic Development Strategy 2011-2020. Remembering Lenin, we feel more deeply his revolutionary and scientific thoughts, his skillful strategic guidance at the turning points of the revolution, especially his thoughts on building socialism. The ideals of the great October Revolution have been illuminating the path to victory of peace, national independence, democracy and socialism.
