MU received 3 good news before the match against Newcastle

November 18, 2017 14:33

Coach Jose Mourinho has just confirmed that MU's star trio Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo will return to play against Newcastle tomorrow morning (November 19, Vietnam time).

Due to a knee ligament injury, Ibrahimovic has been off the pitch since the end of the 2016-2017 season. Meanwhile, Pogba suffered a hamstring injury in the opening match of the Champions League group stage against FC Basel in the early morning of September 13 and has been absent from MU's last 12 matches.

For his part, Rojo has also been out of the field since the end of last season due to a knee ligament injury. However, all three have fully recovered from their injuries and returned to training with their teammates in recent training sessions.

In an interview before the match against Newcastle at Old Trafford tomorrow morning, coach Mourinho himself confirmed that Pogba, Ibrahimovic and Rojo have regained their best physical condition and are ready to play.

Mourinho said: "Recently, many MU players have had to stay away from the field for a long time due to injuries, but even those with serious injuries have been able to return to the field to compete."

When asked about which players can definitely start in the match against Newcastle, the Portuguese strategist affirmed: "Pogba, Ibrahimovic and Rojo are all ready."

Certainly, the return of Pogba, Ibrahimovic and Rojo will significantly improve MU's strength, because all 3 are pillars in the 3 lines of the red half of Manchester.
