Malaysia shocked by Lee Chong Wei's doping test results
The Malaysian Badminton Federation expressed shock at the first doping test result of world number one Lee Chong Wei last Sunday.
After the test, the authorities refused to release the official results and waited for a second test. But the media reported that the tennis player had tested positive for a banned substance at the world championships in Denmark at the end of August.

"One of our athletes at a major tournament tested positive for a stimulant. This is really shocking news. We are really surprised and sad. But we will still hope for a positive result when the testing process is completed," Mr. Norza Zakaria told reporters after a two-hour official meeting to discuss the issue.
Norza also said the second test will be held on November 4 or 5. After the previous test found the banned substance in the athlete's system is dexamethasone, an anti-inflammatory drug.
The results of the test are expected to be announced in about a day or two. He declined to provide further details.
Local media reported that Lee failed a doping test after winning the semi-final. He also lost the final to China's Chen Long.
Malaysians expressed surprise and disbelief at the results against Lee, one of the country's most prominent athletes.
Lee, who received stem cell injections in July to treat a thigh injury, has not commented on the claims.
Earlier this month, the tennis world was hit with a match-fixing scandal involving two Danish players who said they were approached by a Malaysian man via Facebook to arrange a match.
The Badminton Federation also announced on Sunday that they will investigate and clarify this issue with the authorities.
This is also not the first time Malaysia has faced a doping scandal.
Previously, two Malaysian weightlifters were banned from competing for two years for using stimulants in a national tournament in July.
Earlier this month, after Asian champion Tai Cheau Xuen tested positive for doping and was stripped of his gold medal, the head of the Malaysian Wushu Federation also resigned to take responsibility./.
