Man City eagerly awaits to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine
Although very vague about the Vietnam team, the Premier League runner-up knows many famous landscapes and delicious dishes in the S-shaped strip of land.
"We have just had a long flight from Australia to Vietnam so the players are quite tired. However, the team is happy to be warmly welcomed," Man City head of delegation Mike Summerbee shared with VnExpress upon arriving at Noi Bai airport. "We don't know much about the Vietnamese team. However, it is definitely a gathering of the best players in this land. We are eagerly waiting for the competition and will play our best to bring the Vietnamese audience a good match."

Man City arrived at Noi Bai airport at 6:45 pm tonight (July 25). Upon arriving at the hotel, the members of the Premier League runner-up were personally welcomed and given gifts by manager Do Quang Hien. The duo Fernando and Gael Clichy were the happiest when fans celebrated their birthdays right in the hotel lobby.
The friendly match between Man City and the Vietnam team will take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 27 at My Dinh Stadium.
Man City players said they will focus on training and playing an impressive match. However, the team will also take the opportunity to explore more about the country and people of Vietnam. Sagna, who visited Vietnam in 2013 when he was playing for Arsenal, has revealed to his teammates some things to try in the S-shaped strip of land.
"We know that Vietnam has many beautiful landscapes and delicious food. The team will take advantage of the time to visit and especially enjoy as many delicious dishes as possible," Mr. Mike Summerbee happily added.
