Man Utd lost Pogba from 4 to 6 weeks

The latest diagnosis shows that the most expensive player in Man Utd history will not be able to play for at least the next month.

Paul Pogba's injury in the 3-0 win over Basel is more serious than expected. According to BBC, the French international had a scan on his injury yesterday, September 13. He will be out for at least a month, or even six weeks. Therefore, the possibility of Pogba participating in the big match against Liverpool on October 14 is not high.

Previously, experts said that three to four weeks was the time Pogba needed to recover. He suffered a hamstring injury after a bad tackle, going into the tunnel early in the 19th minute.

The 24-year-old midfielder could miss six games, including four crucial Premier League clashes with Everton, Southampton, Crystal Palace and Liverpool. He is also certain to miss the cold and stormy trip to CSKA Moscow in the Champions League, and the Carabao Cup clash with Burton.

However, coach Jose Mourinho is not shaken by the injury of his key player. "The depth of the team is for times like this, injuries or cards. We are not afraid of the injury problem. If Pogba is absent, we still have Herrera, Carrick, Fellaini and Matic," he emphasized.

Mourinho will reveal more details about Pogba's health condition at a press conference ahead of the fifth round of the Premier League. Six months ago, the former Juventus midfielder also suffered a thigh injury and was out for three weeks.
