(Baonghean) - Faced with the limited legal knowledge of ethnic minorities in the province's border areas, leading to the emergence of free migration, illegal border crossing, opium replanting, encroachment, and illegal immigration across the border, the provincial Border Guard has taken many solutions to bring legal knowledge to the people. In particular, the successful organization of the contest "Learning about the law on national borders" is one of the practical and effective tasks.

The contest was deployed throughout the province with 17 departments, branches, agencies, units, schools and 20/20 districts, cities and towns participating with nearly 200,000 entries. Contestants reside in all regions of the province, of all ages, all components and ethnicities. Colonel Nguyen Viet Ha - Deputy Political Commissar, member of the Steering Committee for Propaganda and Dissemination of Law Education (TTPBGDPL) of the Provincial Border Guard affirmed: "The contest is a special, extensive propaganda campaign to all classes of people, in line with the current situation and tasks of protecting sovereignty over seas and islands; contributing to raising legal awareness about national borders, the sense of responsibility of all citizens in the work of protecting sovereignty and security of borders and seas and islands of the Fatherland".
