Traffic safety loss at sand and gravel gathering points

December 7, 2011 08:40

(Baonghean) - Some sections of Provincial Road 533 (through Thanh Chuong district) have piles of sand and gravel scattered all over the roadside, obstructing the view of road users. Therefore, accidents can happen at any time. At the sand and gravel collection points, every day dozens of large and small cars are busy transporting sand and gravel without tarpaulins, causing the sand and gravel to fall onto the road. When it is sunny, the dust is thick, obstructing the view of traffic vehicles, and when it rains, these sections of road become muddy, causing dissatisfaction among residents in these areas and road users.

I think, local authorities need to have strict sanctions against the owners of the above mentioned sand and gravel docks.
