Losing control, 16-seat car "climbed" the median strip, 8 people seriously injured

Losing control, the 16-seat car suddenly jumped onto the median strip and crashed into an electric pole, seriously injuring 8 people, 3 of whom were in critical condition.

At around 5:00 a.m. on July 15, a 16-seat Ford Transit with license plate 15B1-02461 traveling from Ha Long to Cam Pha lost control at Column 3 (the area in front of the old court) on Highway 18, jumped onto the median strip, and crashed into an electric pole.

At the scene, the front of the Ford Transit was crushed, a section of the barrier on the median strip was knocked down. The car was carrying 8 people, all 8 injured are being treated at Quang Ninh General Hospital.

According to information from the Provincial General Hospital, 8 people are currently hospitalized with multiple injuries. 3 patients are currently in critical condition, with a high risk of death due to traumatic brain injury.

Immediately after the accident, the traffic police and traffic police of Quang Ninh quickly arrived to take the victim to the emergency room and ensure traffic order.
