The driver,The victims of the traffic accident were Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh (47 years old, residing in Hai Chau district, Da Nang city, currently Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Da Nang city) and his wife, Ms. Nguyen Hoa Lien (40 years old), who died immediately after the accident occurred.

The accident occurred at around 3:10 p.m. on October 13, when it was raining heavily. The car with license plate 43A - 267.75 driven by Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh was traveling in the direction of Hue - Da Nang. When arriving at Km 873 + 800 of National Highway 1A passing through Loc Thuy commune (Phu Loc district, TT-Hue province), the car driven by Mr. Vinh suddenly crashed into a truck with license plate 75C-066.01 parked in the same direction on the side of the road.
“At the time of the accident, Mr. Vinh was driving his wife, Ms. Nguyen Hoa Lien, and another couple to Da Nang. The accident caused the car to flip over, and Ms. Lien died on the way to Chan May General Hospital for emergency treatment.”
Phu Loc district authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
