Civilian plane missing in Colombia
A civilian plane carrying 10 people lost contact after taking off from Araracuara airport, in the Aquetá region, Colombia yesterday, September 6.

According to the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority, the plane, registration number HK-4755 PA 34 Navajo, carrying two crew members and eight passengers, lost contact with air traffic control at 3:00 p.m. (local time) after taking off from the airport.
Some speculate that the plane had technical problems and crashed into the nearby Amazon rainforest.
It is known that the Colombian Air Force and local rescue forces are currently searching suspected areas to determine the location of the plane crash.
However, according to experts, the survival chances of those on the crashed plane are not high.
