To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, on the evening of August 28, the 2015 Socio-Economic Achievements Exhibition with the theme “Innovation, Integration and Development” opened at the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center. The exhibition has about 80 booths, displaying on an area of 12,000 m2 indoors and 3,000 m2 outdoors. The outdoor area is where the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security display special vehicles serving the People's Armed Forces. |

RAM 2000 MK3 bulletproof vehicle equipped with 3 machine guns. This is considered a symbol of defense cooperation between Vietnam and Israel. The empty weight is 4.8 tons, the length of the vehicle is over 5.8 m. This type of vehicle is bulletproof, can wade 1,000 m, climb slopes, and overcome obstacles. Maximum speed is 100 km/h. The vehicle has 8 seats, serving security forces, anti-terrorism and riot police. |

This mini drone was imported completely from Germany, with some spare parts, with a price of 3.1 billion VND. |

This type of vehicle can be equipped with a camera, transmitting signals directly to the command station. The maximum flight distance is 1,000 m, continuously for 60 minutes. Another drone called Trimble UX5, made in the US, with an import price of 1.5 billion VND, is the only type of aircraft in Vietnam equipped for the military to serve reconnaissance. Trimble UX5 can fly up to 750 m with a flight time of 50 minutes and must use a launch pad when taking off, connecting to the ground control center.
