US aircraft approach Russian bases in Syria

The US Navy P-8A Poseidon anti-submarine patrol aircraft with tail number 168857 took off from NATO's Sigonella air base on the island of Sicily.
At 16:10 Moscow time the plane was detected in the Latakia region of Syria and the coast of Lebanon. The flight took place at an altitude of 6.6 km, the speed was 732.7 km per hour. The Boeing circled the area several times.
