Plane crash due to engine failure kills 7 in Angola
Six Angolans and one South African were killed in a plane crash in Angola's northeastern Lunda Norte province on the afternoon of October 13.

“The Brazilian-made Embraer aircraft, which took off from Kamakenzo airport in Dundo city (Lunda Norte) to the capital Luanda at 4:58 p.m. on October 13, went missing after 30 minutes,” Mr. Solo said.
Debris from the plane was found 320km from Dundo. Mr Solo said the cause of the accident was under investigation but noted that before the plane went missing, the crew reported “engine failure following a fire in adverse weather conditions”.
