MC Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen was invited by the FBI to work on Covid-19 related issues
Recently, MC Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen surprised many people when she shared that she was invited by the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) to work because she was suspected of advertising an unlicensed SARS-CoV-2 virus test kit from a medical facility in the US.
Accordingly, Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen wrote on her personal page: “Real gold is not afraid of fire. After posting a video clip of me getting a blood test, some people thought that I had given false information and thus indirectly helped a fraudulent establishment. They immediately and continuously called the FBI to report and open an investigation file.
The FBI called my company to find me. After receiving the message from the secretary, I immediately contacted the FBI and made an appointment. The FBI sent two people to meet me: an American agent and a Vietnamese-American agent. They asked me very carefully about the details: Did you work for MD (the doctor who tested the female MC), what kind of test kit did you try (igG/igM Rapid Test from Korea), how did you test it, what did MD tell you, what did they send you... After talking to me, they said they would continue to investigate Dr. M.D.

Finally, Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen affirmed: “Today, I received the following news from the FBI: “We concluded there is no fraud”. Ladies and gentlemen, for me, nothing in life is more important than my honor. I may be wrong, but I will never commit fraud. I thank all of you and my fans who have always believed in me and my conscience”. Along with the article, the overseas MC also posted a screenshot of the message the FBI sent her as well as all related information.
Previously, on March 21, Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen posted an article about her family getting tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus using a Korean test kit from a medical facility run by Dr. MD. Immediately after that, the overseas MC received strong backlash from the Vietnamese community in the US because they thought she had received money from MD (a Vietnamese doctor - owner of the medical facility where Ky Duyen's family got tested) to advertise a product that had not been licensed by US authorities.
According to the Orange County Register, Dr. Michael Dao is one of the first people to have a rapid test for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the US. This test kit gives results in 10 minutes by testing blood from the fingertip, however, this test kit has not been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
