Mexico: Train crashes into bus, nearly 50 people injured and killed

At least 16 people were killed and 30 others injured when a train crashed into a bus on a highway in northern Mexico on the evening of February 13.

According to the head of the local emergency agency, the bus ignored the stop signal at the train crossing, which caused the accident. Rescuers have so far confirmed 16 people have died and many more bodies are believed to be trapped inside the bus.

Local media reported that the bus was carrying about 60 people, while the vehicle only had room for 40 people./.
