Heavy rains and floods have caused severe erosion and landslides, blocking traffic on provincial and inter-commune roads. National Highway 24 passing through Quang Ngai province was eroded at Tong Ri Pass. In Ba To district, Quang Ngai, Ba Bich-Ba Nam and Ba To-Ba Le roads were eroded and completely damaged, causing traffic jams.
In Binh Dinh province, heavy rains and floods caused landslides and local traffic jams at some locations. The provinces are urgently directing and organizing to overcome the consequences.
On the night of November 27 and early morning of November 28, the provinces from Quang Binh to Binh Dinh had rain, light rain in some places. The flooding situation in the provinces has significantly decreased. Binh Dinh only has light flooding in the area along Thi Nai lagoon (Kon-Ha Thanh river mouth). In Quang Ngai, the water has basically receded, only light flooding in the area along Ve river.
The reservoirs have reduced discharge compared to November 26. Hydropower reservoirs are operating and not discharging through spillways. Some irrigation reservoirs in provinces from Thua Thien Hue to Binh Dinh continue to discharge./.
