In the final match of the U19 tournament held at the beginning of the year, U19 SLNA let U19 HN.T&T snatch the cup from their hands. And in the final round of the U17 National Championship, after a total defeat against Dong Thap, HAGL, SHB.DN, U17 SLNA left the tournament without gaining any points. This is something that has never happened to SLNA's youth teams! After a "failed" 2010, SLNA is at risk of "going empty-handed" in youth tournaments for another year!

In youth tournaments, SLNA is gradually losing its position. This is also easy to explain because in recent years, football training centers have sprung up "like mushrooms after rain" from the South to the North. These centers are heavily invested, therefore, the training conditions and regime for players are much better than SLNA.

In addition to collaborating with foreign clubs in professional training, they also recruit players in localities across the country. Many talented athletes from Nghe An have joined these centers. With good input and systematic training, these centers have introduced impressive squads. Even the youth teams of Vietnam participating in international tournaments in recent years have used players from these centers as the core. Since then, Da Nang, HN.T&T, HAGL... have been surpassing SLNA in spectacular ways!

Although the youth training of SLNA Club is increasingly focused on, the living and training conditions for the players have improved significantly, the achievements of SLNA youth teams are still inferior to the difficult days, because "we improve one, they improve ten"! This is an alarming thing for SLNA, a place that used to be considered traditional in youth training.
